How do I use the oil?
Warm a little oil between your palms, massage slowly into the skin, then wipe off any excess with a towel. Our ritual guide shows the movements step by step.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes. Apply a little oil to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before first use. For external use only; not on broken or irritated skin, near the eyes, or on infants. Stop if irritation occurs.
What does it smell like?
Bold, warm and a little pungent: mustard oil and kitchen spices. The natural aroma is strong, the way it is at home.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Tracked shipping anywhere in Canada: $12 to Quebec and Ontario, $16 elsewhere, free from $60. Each order is packed by hand and ships within 1–3 business days; delivery then usually takes 2–8 business days. Details.
What if it isn't right for me?
An unopened bottle can be returned within 30 days. If there is a problem with the product (skin reaction, unusual smell, leak) or the parcel arrives damaged, write to us and we refund or replace it. Returns policy.
What's in the bottle?
Mustard seed oil, garlic, ajwain seeds, clove and asafoetida. Allergen: eugenol (clove). May contain wheat.
Will the oil stain fabric?
Like any oil, it can mark fabric. Lay down an old cotton towel, and see our tips to remove oil stains.
How should I store it?
Cap closed, away from heat and light, out of reach of children. The amber glass protects the oil from light.
