About the oil
The Sunday maalish, the way it was made at home.
In many South Asian homes, a maalish is part of the week: someone warms the oil, takes their time, and works it in slowly. We make our oil the same way: cold-pressed (kachi ghani) mustard oil, gently heated with garlic and whole spices, then strained and bottled by hand in small batches in Quebec.
A bold, earthy aroma and a rich, smooth feel. For a slow, relaxing massage, for yourself or someone you care for.
How to use: warm a little oil between your palms, massage slowly into the skin, wipe off any excess.
